Background

"GBE" was established in 2005, and formally registered as an Incorporated Limited Company in 2008. "GBE" is composed of Qualified Professionals, Authorized Persons, Design Architects, Interior Designers and Registered Structural Engineers, supported by experienced Technical staff. This enables us to provide one-stop professional services to our clients.

Our Team

Our team will be led by Mr. John Lam, an Authorized Person with input from in-house Design Architects and Structural Engineers. Building Services Engineers will be called on board to complement our service and meet the Client’s need. In addition, suitable staff will be deployed as necessary or appropriate with a view to ensuring that the total cost of the Project is kept as low as possible. We will ensure that the level of resources injected to the project commensurate with the actual needs of the Project.

Mr. John, Lam Kwok Sang

Founder & Director

Our team is led by Mr. John Lam, an Authorized Person, with input from in-house Design Architects and Structural Engineers. Building Services Engineers will be called on board to complement our service in order to meet our Client’s needs. In addition, a suitable and appropriate level of staffing will be deployed as see fit to ensure that the total cost of the Project is kept as low as possible. We will ensure there to be little to no waste with the level of resources injected to the project matches its actual requirements.

Mr. Mike, Mak Chi Man

Director

Mike Mak is the degree holder in Engineering and Building Surveying. He has been practicing in the industry for over 10 years. He is undergoing professional training as a qualified professional member in HKIS. Mike’s experience in project management involving renovation project and A&A project. He has been practicing on design development. His expertise contributes to the professional services of building surveying in "GBE".

Mr. Miller, Tong Yuen Ming

Director

Miller Tong completed his study in both Valuation and Building Surveying and practiced in the industry for over 10 years. He is a well qualified professional in HKIS and PMSA. His expertise covers from project manage, regulation compliance and strong professional knowledge of existing building and new development potential. His expertise contributes to professional services of GBE as one of the GBE solid foundation.

Mr. Samson, Tam Ming Hong

Manager

Samson Tam completed his education in Aeronautical Engineering. He is responsible for the technical services support for a portfolio of properties in Hong Kong. His main scope of work includes day-to-day technical team operation, E&M technical services, procurement and monitoring, technical advisory and project management.

Mr. Steven Chow

Associate

Steven is professional in building surveying and housing management. He is well-qualified professional in HKIS and Chartered Institue of Housing. His expertise covers from facilties management professional inspection to various structure and strong knowledge in technical aspect application in existing building.

Mr. William, Tang Kam Yue

Structural Engineer

William Tang is the team lead of Structural Engineering in "GBE" and has been practicing in the industry over 18 years. Since he obtained his first degree from University of Hong Kong, he has contributed his knowledge both in consultancy and civil construction projects. His expertise covers a wide range of structural engineering design in both new and existing buildings.

Mr. Boris, C. K. Yung

Head of Consultancy 

Boris is an experienced Architect and AP in Hong Kong for over 40 years. His expertises is in building construction and fabrication, architectural scheme cum details development, mediation and dispute resolution. Boris is also a recognized expert in offering expert witness services in litigation.

Mr. Sam, Ng Chi Wai

Business Development Director

Sam Ng is experienced - rich in PRC's project and also in the large scale development management. He has been in the senior management in one of the largest developers. His expertise is the interdisciplinary problem solving, off-shore project management. recovery of distressed asset and overall management to the entire land conversion process up to asset disposal.

Mr. Cheuk Yiu Pan

Director

Pan is a Registered Professional Surveyor and also qualified professional member in HKIS. Mr. Cheuk has been practicing in the industry for over 12 years. His expertises is in project management of large scale, renovation projects, and various types of A&A works management. Pan is also a practicing “Expert” and acts as “Direct Professional Access” with Barrister in legal cases. Mr. Cheuk mainly contributes the professional services of building surveying in “GBE”.

Mr. Richard, Cheung Kwok Ho

Head of Consultancy Emeritus

Richard Cheung is an Authorized Person registered under Buildings Ordinance and also the Registered Professional Surveyor (Building Surveyor). Richard has been practicing in the industry for over 35 years. He actively serves as an Authorize Person in all facets of the building industry, in particular licensing for Clubs, elderly homes, rehabilitation centres, educational institutions hotels, guest houses etc.
